Drag your slides into the order in which you want them to appear.

When you finish using the Slide Sorter, open the View menu and choose Normal.

Step 2 Click on the Slides tab in the navigation pane to view thumbnails of your slides.

Click and drag a thumbnail to move it into a different position in the running order of your presentation.

Step 3 Select slides in the navigation pane and switch to the Home tab in the PowerPoint ribbon.

Type a name for the section and click on the Rename button to create it.

Open the View menu, choose Slide Sorter and drag a section title bar to move it and its associated slides earlier or later in your presentation.

From the Normal view, click on the Slides tab and select the slide that you want to precede your imported material.

Choose Insert Slides From Other Presentation and select the file from the navigation dialog box.

Click on the Insert All Slides radio button to incorporate the entire presentation or Select Slides to Insert so that you can choose one or more slides.

Click on an individual slide thumbnail to select it or press Shift-Click on multiple slides to choose more than one.

Click on the Insert button to incorporate your selected slides or the Insert All to bring in the entire presentation.

When you finish selecting and inserting slides, click on the Close button to dismiss the Slide Finder dialog box.

Step 5 Select a slide in the Normal views Slides tab and press Shift-Cmd-D to duplicate it.

Drag the thumbnail for the duplicate to a different position in the running order to relocate it.

Step 6 Select a slide in the Normal views Slides tab and press Shift-Cmd-N to create a new slide after the selected one.

Drag its thumbnail to change where the new slide fits in your presentation.
